Blaine Robert Design was established in Kuala Lumpur in 2014 and grew by doing the hard half of the job: not just designing luxury homes, but building them. That heritage is why our drawings survive contact with a construction site.
From design-and-build to owner-side consultancy
For a decade in Malaysia we carried projects from first sketch to handover with our own teams — 250+ projects across residences, penthouses and branded towers. We learned exactly where budgets leak, where contractors improvise, and which details fail when nobody is watching.
Our Dubai practice takes that knowledge and changes sides with it. In the UAE we are consultants only: we design, we tender, we supervise — and we hold no stake in any construction contract. The experience of the builder, placed permanently on the owner's side of the table.

Blaine founded the practice in 2014 and leads every engagement personally — the person in your first meeting is the person accountable at your handover. His work has been recognised at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards, ATAP Design Awards and Qanvast Design Awards, and he has served as an invited judge of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards.

The Dubai practice operates as BR Design LLC from Aspect Tower, Business Bay, leading design and supervision across the city — with villa commissions to date in Dubai, Doha and Saudi Arabia. Construction is delivered by a vetted network of licensed Dubai fit-out partners — appointed by you, through competitive tender, never by private arrangement.
